Individuals
Every individual is unique, so the therapy that works for one person may not work for another. I try to work in a way that is the best fit for each client.
For some of my clients, relief comes from opening up to a non-judgmental person. For others, exploring unhealthy thought patterns and their impact on feelings is helpful. Other clients benefit from understanding the connection between childhood or family experiences and present-day issues. Some are helped by having someone simply listen, while others need me to offer advice or challenge and even confront them.
